Honeymoon in Paris

After a wonderful weekend in Mannedorf/Zurich we headed off to Paris, the city of love, for a honeymoon/holiday. Ka's second time in Paris and K's third.

Under the Eiffel Tower, a perfect spot for romance!

Some of the sights of Paris

The Notre Dame.

The Louvre before all the Da Vinci Code hype.
(Is the Holy Grail under one of those pyramids??)

The Arc de Triomphe and the view from the top looking down one of Paris' broad boulevards and the amazing bravery and lack of road rules of the French drivers at a big intersection.

The Champs Elysees, the richest shopping street in Paris - obviously we bought nothing.

The Moulin Rouge, just around the corner from our hotel.

The Sacre Coeur at Mont Martre. Very touristy part of town but full of good cafes, street theatre and arty types.

When in Paris ... some one had to try the snails. The tourists were in awe but thats why he was the bestman.

Our transport home. First a train from Paris to Zurich, then a plane back to Oz via Singapore and finally a limo ride to the front door.

We had a great time having our "Swiss wedding" and it was sad to come home, however we only have two weeks to prepare for the "Aussie wedding" so no time to rest...
