Sunshine Coast Hinterland
Ready for another road trip! This time we're headed to the beautiful Sunshine Coast Hinterland with it's well known little towns - Eumundi, Mapleton, Montville and Maleny
At the Eumundi Markets.
Visiting the Mapleton Falls.
A map of where we were.
View from Montville looking towards the Sunshine Coast and the Pacific Ocean.
Exploring the streets of Montville and meeting a friendly local - a kookaburra.
Stopping for lunch at Maleny at a Swiss bakery.
Koboshi was asleep, so he missed this beautiful view; looking down from the Blackall Range towards the coast.
The Glass House Mountains.
The crew on the way home.

We're on the move - backwards...
Koboshi has started moving around, but instead of properly crawling, he is "worming" backwards...
He is getting quite fast at it and he is starting to discover more of his surroundings.
There is just one problem with going backwards... sometimes one gets stuck! Koboshi is still trying to figure out how to get out of there...

Because he is soooooooooooo cute!!!!
Our favorite little Koala
Making a fashion statement with his "Tigerfink" Nuggi (Swiss for dummy)
Just being his cute self
Being cute is exhausting - and yes, he means what he says - if he doesn't sleep, nobody does...

Other stuff we did in May
Another picnic in the park ...
Ka, Koboshi and Auntie A spent a beautiful Autumn afternoon in a nearby park having a picnic.
Ka and Koboshi on a blanket enjoying the day.
Ka, Koboshi and A under a beautiful blue sky.
Koboshi loved meeting and spending time with his Auntie A (He can't wait to see her again in Switzerland at Xmas.)
Birthday lunch for Ka at the Sheraton at the Gold Coast
Ka's had a special birthday this year as she was able to spend it with her sister A. We went to the Sheraton Mirage Resort on the Gold Coast for a spectacular sea food buffet to celebrate her birthday. (We like to eat here on every special occassion.)
The entrance to the Sheraton and the view out to the pool and the ocean behind.
Koboshi deciding whether he will eat or sleep, and the two lovely sisters after our meal.
And celebrating Kas birthday at home with the family.
Ka's second birthday meal, dinner at our place with D and M. Ka blowing out the candles (I don't think we have enough!)
Time to say goodbye to A....
After a great 3 and a bit weeks it was time for A to go back home to Switzerland to work and study. Saying goodbye is always sad but we had a ball having her stay with us.
At the airport, filling in the customs form
The crew at the airport - minus Sven. And A's last goodbye as she heads to board the plane.
We have had a fantastic time with A and we can't wait to welcome her in our castle again..... and even better seeing her in Switzerland in a little over 5 months!!!!
