Koboshi's First Birthday - the Party

Saturday was a perfect spring day and we headed up to the State Forest to celebrate Koboshi's birthday with a few friends. (It was K's birthday too). This is a nice spot close to home where the wallabies and other wildlife roam free.

We also had pictures of Koboshi's first year hanging up around the covered picnic area.


The party area is ready and the guests have arrived. Around forty of our family and friends came to celebrate with us.

It was a great day and at the end of the party Koboshi sat back and chillaxed while we cleaned up.

Koboshi's First Birthday - the Day

On 3 October was Koboshi's first birthday!!! It was a big day and it started with opening presents in the morning...

Koboshi received lots of lovely surprises but then it was off to the Gold Coast to see his Auntie and new cousin.

Having fun and staying occupied on the trip down.

And meeting Koboshi's little cousin.

Afterwards it was time for some lunch - the restaurant wasn't Koboshi's choice...but he knew something good was on offer and will grow to appreciate it.

With lunch over it was time to head for home.

NRL Grand Final 2007

Visiting friends of ours for the biggest day on the Rugby League calendar - Grand Final Day! This year, the Manly Sea Eagles were playing the Melbourne Storm. Don't ask about the final score, some of us have not quite recovered from the big loss yet... At least Parramatta won the reserve grade!



Koboshi wasn't very interested in the game. He found other ways to entertain himself. And Chief was looking out for him.
